Recently, wireless carrier Vodafone announced plans to add the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Tab to its offering, and it seems that it already placed the new device on its Coming Soon page. As it always happens when a new device emerges on that page, no specific info on the exact release date was unveiled, nor on the price tag at which the device might be made available.

However, some of the latest rumors on the matter suggest that we're to see Vodafone making the Samsung Galaxy Tab available for purchase around October 11.

As for the price of this Android-based tablet PC, some suggest it might go for around €699 (or around $895) for the 16GB model, or €799 (about $1,025), for the 32GB variant.

While Vodafone did say that it expects for the Android slate to land on its airwaves sometime in October, it still remains to be seen whether the rumors on the device's price tag would pan out.

For what it's worth, we should expect the device to be heavily subsidized when purchased from the carrier on specific contract agreements.
