Samsung is rumored to launch another premium tablet sometime in June, but little was known about what the Galaxy Tab S2 will look like until today.

Today, the first press render of the unannounced tablet has been leaked via @OnLeaks, and from what we can see, the Galaxy Tab S2 will most certainly be quite the looker.

The only downside would be the fact that the Galaxy Tab slate won't be as thin as initially expected. Although the tablet was said to be only 5.4mm thin, the Galaxy Tab S2 is now rumored to measure 5.8-5.9mm.

Nevertheless, that won't make the slate less appealing when it comes to design. Since most of the Galaxy Tab S2's specs have already leaked last month, let's see what it has to offer.

First of all, the slate sports a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution. The table will also come in a different 8-inch version, which is expected to pack similar specs with few exceptions.

Octa-core CPU, 3GB RAM and 8MP camera

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is equipped with an octa-core Exynos processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The tablet will also come with SIM slot and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

We also know that the upcoming tablet should pack an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and video recording, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel camera in the front for video calls and selfies.

There's no word on LTE support, but the tablet will surely offer 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, along with Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS support.

That's about everything we know so far about Samsung's next tablet, the Galaxy Tab S2, but we expect more details to emerge as we get close to launch. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
