Samsung’s latest bunch of flagship tablets has arrived on the market a few months ago and they are marketed under the Galaxy Tab S name.

Since then Samsung has tried in every possible way to woe customers to adopt a Galaxy Tab S of their own. And the feature the company is betting most of its money on is the beautiful, crisp AMOLED display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S bunch is available in 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch variants and brings to the table some impressive specs. The tabs offer super-crisp 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and takes advantage of Samsung’s own home grown Exynos 5 octa-core 5420 processor fitted with 3GB of RAM.

The slates take advantage of a number of interesting features like a finger-print authentication method and ship out bundled with a bunch of services and pre-installed apps.

Neuroscience says the Samsung Galaxy Tab is an awesome tablet

Well, Samsung’s latest attempt to wow customers into buying the AMOLED tablets draws on the wisdom of neuroscience.

After hiring Veronica Mars star, Kristen Bell, to do a little lobby for its flagship tablets, Samsung turns to another celebrity to push the spotlight back on its tabs.

The latest Samsung Tab S video ad is guest starring Jason Silva of National Geographic’s Brain Games. Silva is a master of interpreting and explaining how the brain can be tricked into believing things that aren’t really there.

Silva gives us a visual example, he asks the viewers to take a look at what seems to be a colorful bird. But is it a fancy bird after all? Maybe not.

If your brain gets more visual information in the form of true color and astonishing detail, it will be a lot easier to see what’s really there. In this case, the parrot turns out to be a female model sitting in a strange position.

In order to interpret an outside stimulus that's picked up by the eyes, the brain needs deep contrast and clear shape information to make sense of the raw data. And sometimes, when there aren’t enough details available, the brain tends to make up for it, with fake stuff.

So there you have it, folks, if neuroscience says the Samsung Galaxy Tab S is great, you probably should be paying attention.

If this ad isn’t enough to make you choose AMOLED, we’re taking the opportunity to attach all the other ads Samsung has rolled out for its Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets. Maybe one of them will strike a sensible point in your heart.
