However, the smaller sibling of the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 did not get the same treatment at that time. It appears that it took Samsung several weeks to release Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 series.
The good news is Samsung has already started the rollout of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Galaxy Tab 8.4 LTE version, a new report claims.
Unfortunately, the update is only available in Hong Kong for the time being. It looks like Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE owners in this country can download the update OTA (over the air) or via Samsung Kies desktop software.
Since Samsung has officially kicked off the rollout of Android 5.0 Lollipop for Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE in Hong Kong, we expect the South Korean company to continue to deploy the update in other countries in the next couple of weeks.
