With this in mind, Logitech has announced the Logitech Type-S dedicated Galaxy Tab S keyboard companion for the devices.
There has been a lot of talk about tablets replacing laptops at the work place, but getting productive without a keyboard soon proves to be annoying and frustrating, hence a keyboard companion is a must if you’re planning to use the tablet this way.
The Logitech Type-S is a Bluetooth embedded keyboard, which features well-spaced keys, has several Android shortcuts and confers versatile viewing positions.
It has a battery bundled in its midst that can survive up to 3 months on a single charge, which is pretty amazing to say the least. It is also water-repellant.
Note that the Type-S keyboard is only compatible with the 10.5-inch version of the Galaxy Tab S, but an accessory for the smaller iteration should be made available soon enough.
The keyboard case will not only make working on the new tablets easier, but they will also provide support for the device, allowing you to prop it at different angles.
The keyboard will go on sale later this month in the US, Europe and some select territories in Asia with a price-tag of $99.99 / €74.
