Information about Samsung’s upcoming pile of tablets, headed for Q1 2014 is starting to gather up, as the release date draws near.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (SM-T520) was spotted a while back going through the FCC, but then we didn't have much in terms of specifications. However, the guys over at AnTuTu have benchmarked the tablet and have posted a spec list for the upcoming product.
According to them, the device will feature a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Under the hood, there’s a 1.9GHz Exynos 5420 octa-core processor powering everything (rumor has it, it will be turned into a “true octa-core” via a software update) backed up by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Apart from that, Samsung adds an 8MP rear camera plus a 2MP frontal snapper and will pre-load the slate with Android 4.2.2 KitKat. No mention of an AMOLED screen being present here, but since Sammy has been said to be working on 8-inch and 10-inch models and this is a 10-inch slate, I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is expected to arrive sometime in February, probably at the MWC 2014.
