Bell Canada already confirmed that it will carry the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, but did not disclose any details regarding the slate’s arrival date.
The folks over at MobileSyrup have just been tipped on the tablet’s release date, which appears to be set on December 7. There’s no word on the pricing options yet, but more details will probably leak soon.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE will be Bell’s first LTE-enable tablet capable of reaching peak download speeds of 42Mbps. The slate is powered by Android 3.2 Honeycomb and packs 16GB onboard memory and 1GB of RAM.
Equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is one of the most powerful tablets available in the market.
In addition, the tablet sports a 3-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a 2-megapixel front facing camera for video calls and chats.
