Sammy appears to be working on multiple refreshes this year

Back in January, a trio of unheard of Samsung tablets made an appearance online. I’m talking about SM-T530, SM-T535 (which were said to be 8-inchers) and the SM-T531 (said to be a 10-incher).

Well, according to MySamsungPhones, the info was correct only when referring to the latter. It appears all three model numbers are different versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab (10.1) dubbed Matisse.

Basically, the first two are the Wi-Fi and LTE variants, while the latter is the 3G version of the slate mentioned above.

The new tablet will come equipped with the same 10.1-inch TFT LCD WXGA screen with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, the same as the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1.

However, things have been upgraded in the processor department, where we now have a 1.2 quad-core CPU combined with 1.5GB of RAM (compared to the previous 1.6 dual-core with 1GB of RAM). I have also noted an enhancement in the photography department, where we now have an 8MP back-snapper and 2MP frontal camera (compared to the previous 3MP with 1.3MP).

Like the previously leaked Millet and Degas, Matisse isn't an AMOLED tablet, so where is Samsung hiding those?
