A tablet that hasn't been unveiled at CES 2014 is the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lite, the tech giant’s budget model which has been seen in several leaks in the past few weeks.

Now the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite has been spotted paying a visit at the GFXBenchmark site for some performance tests (via TabletGuide). Thus, we get a few more details about the upcoming budget device. Sadly, they are not so great.

The benchmarking site shows the budget slate has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, which is accord with previous rumors and that its processor (unknown, possibly a budget dual-core or quad-core version) can be clocked up to 1.2GHz.

But the most eye-catching detail is the tablet’s achievement in terms of frames. The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite's score has been set at 153 frames (2.7 Fps) which places the tablet on the same level as the outdated Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus (early 2012), Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (2011) and phones such as the Samsung Galaxy SII Plus or Samsung Galaxy Premier.

Now we know why Samsung is going to be selling the tablet for a lousy $129 / €94.
