Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the previously announced Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Garnet Red model arrives in the US and is now available for purchase via Amazon, for $199 / €147 a pop (with a humorous $0.99 / €0.73 discount).

The edition comes in limited stock, so if you want to make sure Cupid will locate you faster (he’ll spot the red color, of course), you can head on over at Amazon and grab one.

Apart from the new coloring option, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 remains the same tablet as before, with a 7-inch screen and a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The slate draws power from a 1.2GHz dual-core processor combined with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD).

Other specifications include the standard dual cameras (3MP on the back and 1.3MP in front), Wi-Fi, HSPA, GPS, Bluetooth and a 4000 mAh battery.

The default operating system is Android 4.1.2, but note that it can be upgraded to Android 4.2.2. Sadly, Samsung hasn't said anything about an upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat regarding the tablet.
