Bored of the rudimentary black, grey, white coloring options most tablet manufacturers usually offer? Samsung is feeling your pain, so it has just announced a limited edition Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 in Garnet Red, exclusively for the American market.

This is not the first time Sammy is bringing Garnet Red out of the bag, as it has done so with the previous generation Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.

The new version will be available in the US starting February 2 with a price tag of $199.99 / €150, says Sammyhub. Customers will be able to grab their Garnet Red tablet off major retailers in the country.

Apart from the new color, the tablet remains the same. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 sports a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM packed under the hood.

On top of that, Sammy has equipped the slate with two cameras (3MP on the back and 1.3MP in front), 8GB of memory (expandable via microSD), Wi-Fi, HSPA, GPS, Bluetooth and a 4,000 mAh battery.

The default operating system on board is Android 4.1.2 but users can update to Android 4.2.2.
