The 16GB tablet is expected to be released on June 22

Samsung already launched its Galaxy Tab 2 family in US, but Canadians have been left out for the moment. However, this about to change as a pre-order page for the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) went live at Future Shop.

Customers can pre-order the tablet for only $350 CAD, though this is the Wi-Fi only model with 16GB of storage. According to Future Shop the Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is expected to hit shelves on June 22.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is powered by Google's latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform integrated with TouchWiz UX user interface.

On the inside, the slate packs a dual core processor clocked at 1 GHz, a PowerVR SGX540 GPU, as well as 1GB of RAM. There's also a 3-megapixel rear photo snapper and a VGA front-facing camera for video calls.
