T-Mobile USA and Sprint confirmed last month that they would offer the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet in the following weeks.

The former has yet to announce when it will launch the tablet, but Sprint has just confirmed that the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will go on sale on November 11.

Sprint's first 4G LTE-enabled tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available for purchase for 550 USD (425 EUR), excluding taxes and surcharges.

However, Sprint customers can purchase the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for much lower if they activate it on one of the new month-to-month tablet rate plans.

Starting at 14.99 USD (12 EUR) for 300MB of 3G/4G LTE data, 34.99 USD (25 EUR) for 3GB of data, 49.99 USD (40 EUR) for 6GB of data and 79.99 USD (60 EUR) for 12GB of data, Sprint’s new plans are good deals for the carrier's customers.

In addition, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 can be added to one's account with a specially discounted rate plan that includes 1GB of data for only 15 USD (12 EUR) per month or as low as 10 USD (7 EUR) per month for 100MB of data.

There's more to it, as Sprint has announced that for a limited time it is waiving the activation fee on all 3G/4G LTE tablets.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box. The tablet packs a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and a vibrant 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display.

“Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 brings Sprint 4G LTE to a new category of device and expands a portfolio already recognized as one of the industry’s best. This new tablet combined with the Sprint 4G LTE network and our aggressively priced tablet rate plan options offer consumers and business users an exciting new way to stay connected and productive with a large workspace in an easily portable device,” said David Owens, vice president, product development, Sprint.
