The original Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet from Samsung received its Android 4.0 update about two weeks ago, but that was only in Europe.

Now, according to some users on the Android Forums, the update is rolling out, over the air (OTA), in the United States as well. The version of the OS is Android 4.0.4.

Some people may not see any updates available yet, in which case they need only wait until Samsung gets around to sending it over.

Keep in mind that only the P7510 Wi-Fi model has been served, which is the original Galaxy Tab 10.1, not the second-generation, or S3 or Tab 7.7 or any other.

That said, if time passes and the OTA upgrade still doesn't come, the Samsung Kies (file backup and syncing service) can be used to manually start the process.
