Samsung’s next Unpacked event is probably going to attract most eyes in the tech industry when it unfolds in Barcelona on March 1.

We’re expecting the tech giant to unveil its next-gen Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge models which should be the answers to most of our hopes and dreams.

The two devices haven’t leaked out in the flesh yet (not in their consumer-friendly mode anyway), but luckily we have a pretty good idea of what the Galaxy S6 will look like thanks to designers’ efforts.

Earlier today we saw the first Galaxy S6 physical mockup made with a 3D printer by designer Jarmaine Smit.

Well, Smit also teamed up with colleague Ivo Maric to produce a video showing both upcoming phones. The most interesting part comes towards the end when we get to see a bunch of very realistic hands-on moments.

Another highlight constitutes the fact that the Galaxy S6 Edge is spotted in the short movie, boasting its dual curved forms.

So you better watch this video in preparation of what is going to be released on the grounds at Barcelona.

Things to expect

If you missed our earlier scoop related to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, this is as good a place as any to remind you the two flagships are expected to arrive with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution (2K).

Under the hood, Samsung will utilize its own home-grown Exynos 7420 platform instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, which will go into most of this spring’s smartphones.

The platform was already spotted in benchmarks a while ago and managed to score a similar amount of points as the Snapdragon 810 did.

The Galaxy S6 is Samsung’s chance to make things right while its flagship lineup is concerned. The device should be the first in the S lineup to come boasting an all-metal body and take advantage of a clutter-free TouchWiz interface.

Samsung is also done with the swipe-based finger print affair and will be implementing with the newcomer the much more efficient touch-based model.
