The Galaxy S6 hasn’t been outed yet, the more reason for fans of the series to let loose of their imagination and speculate on how the smartphone could look like.

So after the first rumors regarding the Galaxy S6 that leaked last week, it’s interesting how someone took that information and put it in a concept that might not be too far from the real thing, hopefully.

According to sources familiar with Samsung’s plans for Galaxy S6, the company plans to start fresh with the next flagship smartphone and redesign it from the ground up.

Design is one of the weak spots for Samsung’s Galaxy S series for a few years now, so a change would be more than welcome. However, it’s not easy to innovate after copying the same form factor and design over and over again for at least a couple of years.

And the problem is that Samsung is not doing this out of good will, but because it is forced to change something due to the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 low sales numbers.

Now, the folks over at 3G.co.uk have their own vision on Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6. The concept that may look more or less like the upcoming Galaxy S6 is definitely something that Samsung fans would consider a good start.

The Galaxy S6 concept features a premium design that looks very much like the Galaxy Alpha. However, the concept mixes metal and glass, so for once Samsung fans won’t be given a plasticky flagship smartphone.

At only 140g (battery included) and 6.7mm thickness, the Samsung Galaxy S6 imagined by 3G.co.uk feels and looks like a premium smartphone.

The Galaxy S6 concept has specs similar to those of the Motorola Moto Maxx

Hardware-wise, the Galaxy S6 seems to be a Motorola Moto Maxx copycat. The smartphone should sport a stunning 5.2-inch Quad HD display with 564ppi (pixel per inch) and an impressive 20-megapixel rear-facing camera with 4K video recording and OIS (optical image stabilization).

The smartphone would be powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM. It will be available in two variations, 32GB and 64GB, but it will also pack microSD card slot for memory expansion (128GB).

Obviously, the Galaxy S6 will run Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box and will offer a variety of connectivity options, including LTE Cat.6, NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Last but not least, the flagship smartphone will continue to carry a fingerprint sensor, which will be built inside the home screen button, as well as a heart rate sensor on the back.

What do you think about this Galaxy S6 concept? Would you like the real thing to look like this one? What about the specs? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
