No 20-megapixel rear-facing camera for the flagship

There has been lots of information leaked about Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6, but not everything that's been anticipated for the handset seems to be accurate.

Judging from previous experience we knew this would happen, so one of the previously “confirmed” pieces of hardware that Samsung Galaxy S6 should pack is the 20-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Well, it turns out that previous reports were referring to a prototype that had a 20-megapixel camera featuring a Samsung-made module sensor. But this prototype won't be upgraded to the final version, but another one that will pack a slightly lower snap shooter.

According to SamMobile, Samsung Galaxy S6 is almost sure to come with a 16-megapixel camera on the back. Furthermore, it's worth mentioning that it will be the same camera module that comes inside Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features Sony's IMX240 sensor.

Rumors claim Samsung has done quite a few tweaks to the lens and processing improvements to the 16-megapixel camera, so the Galaxy S6 should offer a better camera experience than that of the Galaxy Note 4.

It's unclear what improvements Samsung has done to the camera lens, so that the 16-megapixel camera can offer superior pictures in comparison to the Galaxy Note 4's shutter.

Non-removable battery is another letdown for the Galaxy S6

This isn't the only disappointed info about the Galaxy S6, as many fans are outraged by the fact that Samsung has decided to go with a non-removable battery.

Moreover, the smartphone is expected to pack an even lower battery than the Galaxy S5, which doesn't look good at all considering the Galaxy S6 will be equipped with a more powerful hardware.

Even if Samsung will pour quite a lot of money in advertising its Galaxy S6, many people won't be fooled anymore by the company's gimmicks and PR stunts.

Let's hope no other rumored specs will cut down in the coming days. Stay tuned for more updates on Galaxy S6's specs.
