Samsung has recently cut the price of its flagship smartphone to Rs 44,000 ($730 / €525) outright and with the new price, the South Korean company has launched a new color option for the Galaxy S5.

The Galaxy S5 was launched in India last month, but only the Charcoal Black, Electric Blue and Shimmery White color options were available to customers until recently.

Today, SammyHub reports that Samsung announced that the Galaxy S5 would be available for purchase in India in Copper Gold for the similar price mentioned earlier.

“The Galaxy S5 is a testament of people-inspired innovation from Samsung. Gold has a huge appeal among Indian consumers as it lends a niche and premium feel to the product. The various shades of gold are associated with luxury and make for an excellent aspirational buy.

This specially crafted Galaxy S5 in Copper Gold variant is aimed at consumers seeking seamless integration of stunning classic design and exceptional functionality to make their lives more efficient.”

Customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy S5 will receive Galaxy Gifts comprising premium apps and games, along with various subscriptions.

Moreover, those who buy the smartphone until May 31 will also receive a Rs 5,000 coupon, which can be redeemed on Samsung’s online store for accessories, wearable or other mobile phones. Keep in mind that this coupon is only available until June 15.
