One of the features previously rumored to make an appearance inside Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S5 smartphone was magnetic resonance wireless charging, but it seems that the vendor has decided to opt out of it.

A recent report from newstomato suggests that Samsung is not seeing the technology as quite ready for the market, and that it won’t include it inside Galaxy S5.

Previous rumors did suggest that Samsung might not have the tech ready until the second half of the year, yet some suggested that it would plan on rushing things up for Galaxy S5’s launch.

The feature is said to be easy to implement, even in the upcoming flagship, but Samsung believes that users might not be willing to pay extra for it.

As SamMobile notes, even standard wireless charging has yet to pick up Steam, as the cost of chargers often determines users not to go for it.
