South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung is nearing the official release of its Galaxy S5 flagship device in over 150 markets out there, but retailers are already listing the phone as in stock, including one in the UAE.

Galaxy S5 won’t become officially available for purchase until April 11, though users in the UAE can now head over to this retailer’s website and order it, it seems.

The smartphone is listed there with a price tag of 2,599 AED ($707/€516) attached to it. However, as SamMobile notes, although it is said to be in stock today, Galaxy S5 might not start rolling out to users until April 11.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Samsung made the Galaxy S5 official in February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, when it announced that the phone would go up for sale in 150 countries out there simultaneously later this week.

However, chances are that it will hit shelves in some countries earlier than that, especially since this has already happened in South Korea, where wireless carrier SK Telecom started selling the phone on March 27.

In the UAE, users can purchase the phone right now in Black and White color versions, but other variants might arrive there as well in the not too distant future.

The specs sheet of Galaxy S5 in this country remains unchanged from what Samsung announced for the device back in February, which means that users here will enjoy the same 5.1-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen that can deliver a full HD resolution.

Moreover, the smartphone is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. A microSD memory card slot for storage expansion is featured.

On the back, Galaxy S5 sports a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash, OIS, autofocus, and support for 4K video recording. A 2MP front camera is also included, so as to enable users to make video calls while on the go.

The new flagship Android smartphone from Samsung arrives on the market with the entire set of connectivity capabilities packed inside (HSPA+, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS receiver), as well as with a full range of sensors. It is powered by a 2800mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S5 runs under Android 4.4.2 KitKat, but it also packs a variety of exclusive features coming from Samsung themselves, such as Ultra Power Saving Mode, S Health, S Voice, and more.
