Although previous rumors have claimed that Samsung may include its own fingerprint sensor inside the Galaxy S5, it looks like these reports were inaccurate.

UK-based retailer MobileFun has just listed some special cases for the unannounced Samsung Galaxy S5, which apparently doesn’t have any cutouts for the said fingerprint scanner.

The Trident Aegis case for the Galaxy S5 “features a blue inner-layer of shock-absorbing silicone with an outer-layer of hardened polycarbonate, designed to fit the Samsung Galaxy S5 perfectly.”

As Phonearena points out, the only cutouts present on the case are for the LED flash, camera, loudspeaker, microphone and noise-cancelling microphone.

However, we should take these details with a grain of salt until Samsung comes forward with Galaxy S5’s official announcement.

According to the latest hearsay, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S5 on February 24, during the Unpacked 5 event held in Barcelona, Spain.
