Last week, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics officially announced the upcoming availability of a smaller flavor of the Galaxy S 4, dubbed Galaxy S4 mini and set to hit shelves in July.

Samsung did not announce a specific price tag for the new Android handset, but a recent report from mobile-arsenal.com.ua claims that Samsung Ukraine has already unveiled it, and that it is not cheap.

Apparently, the phone might hit shelves priced at 5,000 UAH (€460 / $612), which would be about the same price tag that UK retailer Handtec is asking for S4 mini, namely £389.99 (€456 / $598), as UnwiredView notes.

An official word from Samsung on this has yet to emerge, and we can only hope that it would be lower than the currently rumored one.
