It lands on the market with a price tag of Rs. 27,900 ($464 / €360) attached

South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung is getting ready for the launch of the Galaxy S4 mini handset in India, and it has already announced plans on the matter.

The smaller flavor of Galaxy S4 was made official in the country with a price tag of Rs. 27,900 ($464 / €360) attached to it, and with three months of 2GB data for free from Reliance, sammyhub reports.

Samsung Galaxy S4 mini arrives on the market with a 4.3-inch qHD (960x 540 pixels) Super AMOLED screen, as well as with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor packed inside, paired with 1.5GB RAM.

Furthermore, it sports 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, a 1900mAh battery, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 1.9MP camera on the front for video calling.

Running under Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the device also packs a series of exclusive features coming from Samsung themselves, including Sound & Shot, Story Album, S Translator, WatchON, and S Health.
