Samsung has just announced that the Galaxy S4 mini will go on sale in the United States beginning next month. The South Korean handset maker has confirmed that no less than four operators will carry the smartphone in November: AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and U.S. Cellular.

Moreover, Samsung has stated that the Galaxy S 4 mini will be available in Black Mist and White Frost color options, but specific availability, colors, timing and prices will be revealed soon by the carriers.

“Samsung continues to provide a wide range of products to fit consumers’ needs. The Galaxy S 4 mini continues that commitment by bringing the paramount features of our flagship Galaxy S 4 smartphone to a smaller, more compact form factor,” said Gregory Lee, president of Samsung Mobile.

Along with the phone, Samsung will introduce several accessories, such as the S-View Flip Cover, as well as other Flip Covers without the S-View window in an array of colors including black, white, light blue, and pink.

Given the fact that Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini will receive a software update soon after launch, it will be fully compatible with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

However, the smartphone will ship with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box. On the inside, Galaxy S4 mini will come equipped with a 1.7 dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 1.5GB of RAM.

There are 8GB of storage inside, but only 5GB will be available for installing apps. Still, users can further expand internal memory up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

The smaller version of Galaxy S4 sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating. LTE Cat 3, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC (Near Field Communication) and built-in GPS are included as well.
