14 DAY TRIAL // South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has made available for purchase new versions of its Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini smartphones in Russia, namely Black Editions.
The new devices come with the same hardware specifications as the original models, but sport a soft-touch faux leather back. Evidently, only Black versions of the new handsets will become available for purchase, though they should still prove a great option for users out there.
Those who would like to grab one of these devices will have to pay 23,000 Rubles ($657/€484) for the Galaxy S4, or 16,000 ($457/€337) Rubles for the Galaxy S4 mini. Both of them can be seen on Samsung Russia’s website.
As mentioned above, the new models feature the same hardware specifications as previous versions of the two smartphones.
The Galaxy S4 Black Edition comes with a 5-inch Super AMOLED screen capable of a full HD resolution and is powered by a 1.9GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor.
Furthermore, the handset packs 2GB of RAM inside, 16/32/64GB of internal memory options, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.
Moreover, it sports a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with support for full HD video recording, paired with a front camera for making video calls while on the go.
The smartphone packs 4G LTE connectivity, HSDPA, 42.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, and a built-in GPS receiver. It runs under Android Jelly Bean and sports a Li-Ion 2600mAh battery inside.
Galaxy S4 mini Black Edition, on the other hand, has a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor, and 1.5GB of RAM. At the same time, it comes to the market with 8GB of internal memory, support for 4G LTE networks, and a Li-Ion 1900mAh battery.
Samsung packed the smartphone with an 8-megapixel camera on the back, with full HD video recording capabilities, as well as with a 1.9MP camera on the front. The handset runs under Android Jelly Bean too.
