The smartphone features a price tag of 649,000 won ($605 / €446)

South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has officially announced the availability of its Galaxy S4 Zoom smartphone on its homeland market.

The mobile phone went official several months ago with a large 16-megapixel camera on the back, with Xenon Flash and 10x optical zoom, and it arrives in South Korea in Black and White, priced at 649,000 won ($605 / €446), SammyHub reports.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom packs a 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside, while being powered by 1.5GB of RAM.

The handset also sports a 1.9MP camera on the front, a 2330mAh battery, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

It runs under Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, with a nice range of exclusive Samsung apps and features on top, such as S Voice, S Translator, Group Play, Smart/Expert shooting modes, and more.
