14 DAY TRIAL // Starting this week, the Galaxy S4 smartphone is available for purchase in the United States on the network of C Spire Wireless too, the carrier has announced on Monday.
The flagship Android smartphone arrives on the market with support for the company’s 4G LTE network, as well as with a nice range of other premium features.
It will also be able to deliver great performance capabilities to those who purchase it, courtesy of a 1.9 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
“This phone features a unique suite of easy to use innovations that promise to change how consumers interact with their primary communications device,” said Kevin Hankins, COO for C Spire Wireless.
“We’re excited to introduce it on our fast, reliable network, which is powered by our advanced optical fiber-based infrastructure.”
Samsung Galaxy S4 arrives on the market with a 5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, while featuring a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with full HD video recording, and a 1.9MP front camera for making video calls.
The specifications list of the new device also includes a 2600 mAh battery, microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS receiver, and the usual set of sensors on top.
Running under Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the handset also packs a variety of exclusive features coming from Samsung themselves, including:
- Drama Shot: Use this camera mode to capture a progressive event, like a baby’s first steps or a basketball player’s slam dunk, in one frame. - Eraser Shot: Remove unwanted objects or people from an otherwise perfect picture. - Smart Pause: Pause a video by looking away from the screen. - Air Gesture: Answer a call or skip to the next song by waving your hand in front of the screen. Useful when your hands are otherwise occupied. - Air View: Preview emails, photos in gallery, or even the stories in Flipboard by hovering your finger over the screen. - Group Play: Connects up to 8 phones wirelessly to play games, share favorite tunes, photos and documents with no Wi-Fi required.
Samsung Galaxy S4 can be purchased today from C Spire’s website at $199.99 (€155) with the signing of a new two-year customer agreement that includes data services.
