The smartphone will be available in black and white at both carriers

Australian carriers Telstra and Optus have just opened up pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. Customers can now pre-purchase the smartphone in black or white from either of two major network operators.

According to Ausdroid, Optus offers the Galaxy S4 Mini for free on plans starting at $50 (€35), while Telstra customers can grab the smartphone on plans starting at $64 (€45).

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will ship with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and the latest TouchWiz UI. The smartphone packs a 1.7 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 GPU, and 1.5GB of RAM.

Although the handset comes with only 8GB of internal memory (5GB user-available), users will be able to further expand storage up to 64GB via microSD memory card. Keep in mind that all Galaxy S4 Mini pre-orders are expected to ship beginning September 17.
