South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung is reportedly gearing up for the release of a new Android-based mobile phone on the market in the UK, namely the Galaxy S2 HD.

The handset was spotted over at the online retailer MobiCity, though only in an advert. Even so, this suggests that Galaxy S II will soon arrive in the country with an HD screen.

Moreover, it should feature a better battery inside, and it would sport model number E120S. The guys over at MoDaCo found the handset listed on MobiCity’s Australian website as well, with full specs attached.

It should sport a 1280 x 720 pixels screen, along with a fast 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, 16GB of internal memory, NFC (Near Field Communication), and an 1850 mAh battery packed inside.
