Samsung Galaxy S is undoubtedly one of the nicest mobile phone running under Android that landed on the market during the ongoing year, and it seems that it is set to become even more appealing before September is over.

The manner in which it would do so includes the Android 2.2 Froyo software update that Samsung is reportedly getting ready to deliver to it in late September.

Whether than would happen in all markets where this device is available for purchase is uncertain, though it seems that European countries would receive the solution at that time.

According to a recent article on androidspin, Samsung is getting ready to release the solution for its Galaxy S units available in Finland sometime during the last week of September.

Here's what a source familiar with the company's plans reportedly stated: “definitely receiving new software for repairing froyo builds on the 22nd of September, with the build expected to be released on the 23rd.”

Since Galaxy S (i9000) is ready to receive Android 2.2 in Finland on September 23rd, it would make sense for Samsung to try to make the solution available in more markets around the world, though this still has to be confirmed for the time being.

Of course, a wide range of details are still not known, including info on which Galaxy S device would receive the solution.

For those who are out of the loop, we should note that the latest OS updated for HTC's devices arrived on unlocked units first, and that phones available via carriers received the solutions at a later time.

Moreover, it still remains to be seen whether the Galaxy S units available on the US market would also receive the update at the same time with the rest of the world.

All of them are carrier branded, and chances are that these operators would delay the availability of Froyo a little bit, just enough to enable them pack their own applications and settings inside the software.
