Samsung recently intorduced the Galaxy S Plus in India and the smartphone is already seeing a small price cut. Initially available for purchase for a suggested retail price of Rs 22,560 (460 USD or 345 EUR), the handset is now Rs 1,900 cheaper (40 USD or 30 EUR).

Major retailer Flipkart is now offering the Samsung Galaxy S Plus for 20,650 (420 USD or 315 EUR) outright. Samsung fans cannot go wrong with this Android-based smartphone.

The device is equipped with a 1.4 Ghz single core processor, an Adreno 205 GPU, a 4.0-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (480 x 800 pixels resolution), 8GB/16GB of internal memory, 512 MB of RAM, and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Samsung Galaxy S Plus is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, but it won't come as a surprise if it will get an Ice Cream Sandwich update later this year.
