South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is getting ready for the official launch of its Galaxy S IV smartphone on March 14 in New York, and it seems that it has already pushed the device through various certification forums out there.

In fact, the upcoming Android-based flagship device is said to have already been approved for use in Taiwan, although no specific release date for it is available as of now.

According to a recent article on GSM Insider, the smartphone was approved with model number GT-I9500 attached to it, and with support for GSM/WCMDA networks. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities are also mentioned in the certification listing.

Based on the model number, this should be the international version of the mobile phone, though Samsung is expected to make it available in different versions, depending on targeted markets.
