New pictures prove that the smartphone is close to getting the update

Samsung has confirmed that it will bring the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean upgrade to Galaxy S III in October, but the company has not offered any additional details on the exact release date.

There have been a few leaks over the past two weeks that have confirmed that Samsung is actively working on Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S III, but most of the pictures were rather blurry.

Today, AndroidSaS blog site reports that it has manage to grab two pictures of the Galaxy S III running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Unfortunately, aside from the “About device” screenshot, there’s nothing that could shed some light on the update’s availability.

According to the latest hearsay, Samsung plans to launch Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for Galaxy S III in Asia in the last week of October, but the rest of the world doesn’t have any rumored release dates. Stay tuned for more on this.
