The 4G-enabled Galaxy S III is available in Australia for quite some time now, but customers can only purchase it via Telstra’s online store.

However, this is about to change as Samsung introduced the Galaxy S III 4G at Kogan, a major Australian retailer, and now at Telstra’s brick and mortar stores.

According to AusDroid, the smartphone can be purchased for 865 AUD (885 USD or 690 EUR) outright.

Customers willing to commit to a long-term contract can grab the Galaxy S III 4G for $66 AUD /month on a 24-month contract.

Unlike the original Samsung Galaxy S III, the 4G version that can be purchased in Australia via Telstra comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box. Other than that, both Galaxy S III models are pretty much the same.
