Leaked two weeks ago, the Sprint-branded Samsung Galaxy S II has just been spotted at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with WiMAX and CDMA support.

The superphone posed for the blurrycam more than ten days ago, when the guys over at This is my next published the picture of a Samsung Galaxy S II with bearing Sprint's logo.

It appears that the rumors are true and the handset will soon make its way onto Sprint's lineup of high-end Android smartphones.

As the FCC documents mention, the phone has been codenamed SPH-D710, but it is likely to receive a different market name.

In fact the name of the Sprint-bound Galaxy S II was confirmed since the end of May, thus we already know that it will launched on the market as Samsung Within.

Furthermore, it looks like Sprint's Galaxy S II smartphone will be 5mm taller and 3mm wider than the European version of the device.

However, the rest of the specs seem to be the same with the exception of the phone's processor, which is to be determined in due time.

Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II may be equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU manufactured by either NVIDIA or Samsung (Exynos).

Furthermore, the smartphone is powered by Samsung's next-generation TouchWiz UX technology along with Google's Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) platform.

In addition, the handset boasts a superior 8-megapixel camera and camcorder with 1080p full HD recording and playback, and a secondary 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

It comes with an impressive 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touch screen display, which is based on Samsung's latest mobile display technology and is covered by Gorilla Glass to protect it from scratches.

According to the manufacturer, Galaxy S II's standard 1650 mAh Li-Ion battery should provide up to 710 hours of standby time or up to 18 hours of talk time.
