Samsung Galaxy S II, the latest flagship mobile phone from leading South Korean handset vendor Samsung, is set to make an appearance on shelves in a matter of weeks, in different markets around the world, through various wireless carriers out there.

The smartphone, unveiled during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, offers a nice range of features and capabilities, including a slim design, and a large 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display.

Apparently, Samsung considers the phone's screen one of its main selling points, and the first video commercial it released for the device is focused exactly on this feature.

Samsung's mobile phones already offer impressive visuals with their AMOLED screens, and the upcoming mobile phone is expected to follow the same path as well.

As the video embedded at the bottom of this article shows, the handset's display can indeed deliver vibrant colors and contrast.

“The Galaxy S II has a 4.27" SUPER AMOLED Plus display - specifically developed for vividness and clarity. Watch realistic HD video on the world's greatest smartphone screen,” the video's description reads.

However, this is only one of the appealing features that the mobile phone would be set to hit the shelves with, complemented by HD video recording capabilities powered by the dual-core 1.2GHz application processor the device sports inside, and the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS loaded on it.

Moreover, the handset vendor packed the Galaxy S sequel with appealing multimedia capabilities, including support for various video and audio files, along with Flash Player 10.2 support, and the possibility to record and playback high-definition videos.

We should also note that the mobile phone is capable of offering much more than that, and that its specs list includes 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, along with GPS receiver, or the usual set of sensors.

Moreover, the phone would sport 16GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, which should enable users carry around favorite clips in HD.
