Samsung Galaxy S II Plus was officially released on the market back in February, but the smartphone is only available in a handful of countries.

Indian retailer Infibeam has just announced that it has started to take pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy S II Plus and promises to ship all orders in 7 business days.

Not the fastest shipping time, but customers who really want this device can now get it for no less than Rs 22,900 outright, which is about $425 or €325. Check it out here.

The smartphone is available in both white and black colors, but it seems a bit overpriced in comparison with other devices in the same range.

In this regard, the handset can be positioned between the Galaxy S II and Galaxy S III when it comes to hardware, so expect to get a little bit of both devices.

For example, Samsung Galaxy S II Plus comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, integrated with TouchWiz 5.0 user interface.

On the inside, the handset comes equipped with a Broadcom BC28155 chipset, which is rather strange for a Samsung smartphone that usually features either an Exynos or a Qualcomm chipset.

The phone’s Broadcom BC28155 chipset packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, as well as a Broadcom VideoCore IV graphics processing unit.

In addition, Samsung Galaxy S II Plus sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 217ppi.

It is also worth mentioning that the smartphone packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

There’s also an enhanced 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
