Samsung Galaxy S II “Bobbi Brown” Limited Edition Gets Launched in South Korea

Question: what could be more appealing for a lady than a Samsung Galaxy S II? Answer: a Samsung Galaxy S II “Bobbi Brown” Limited Edition.

The handset manufacturer has just announced the availability of a pink-themed Galaxy S II, which will be shipped along with a special beauty box that will contain an original Bobbi Brown makeup palette and a makeup service coupon.

For those unfamiliar with the name Bobbi Brown, this is a well-known cosmetic company and is in no way related with Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.

However, the timing of this release makes you wonder if the said company did not want to take advantage of Bobbi Kristina’s heavy media exposure following her mother’s death, and get some free publicity.

Anyway, it appears that Samsung and the renowned cosmetic company will only sell 2012 special edition Galaxy S II units. The sale runs from February 24 through March 9, both online and in stores.

Unfortunately, Samsung Galaxy S II “Bobbi Brown” Limited Edition is only available in South Korea, and there are slim chances that customers will be able to get it outside the country.

There are no details on the hardware or software configuration of the pink-colored smartphone, but we can assume that nothing has been changed.

Still, the phone might be delivered with some Bobbi Brown dedicated content, such as wallpapers, themes or apps, though this has yet to be confirmed.

What’s certain is the fact that the smartphone will be powered by Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system with Samsung’s TouchWiz 4.0 user interface on top.

In addition, the phone boasts a stunning 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen display (480 x 800 pixels resolution), which features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.
