We reported last week on the upcoming release of the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q at T-Mobile USA, but the smartphone did not launch on August 15, as previously expected.

According to TmoNews, Samsung and T-Mobile decided to change the name of the handset, so expect this one to be released as Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G, instead of the previous Galaxy S Blaze Q name.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any additional details on the phone’s launch date, though it shouldn’t take too long for T-Mobile USA to go live with this Android slider.

Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G is expected to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box. It will be powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, which will be complemented by 1GB of RAM. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
