South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has just brought the white flavor of its Samsung Galaxy S flagship device to the market in Germany, after making it available for purchase on shelves in the UK a while ago.

The white flavor of this high-end smartphone would feature the same hardware specifications as the black version that already sold millions of units around the world.

The new brilliant white iteration of the device comes with the same large Super AMOLED display, as well as with the fast application processor that made the Galaxy S popular all around the world.

Moreover, Google's Android operating system would be included into the mix as well, though only the Android 2.1 flavor of the OS, and not the newer Android 2.2 Froyo release, which was already delivered to most Galaxy S devices out there.

As for the specifications list, we can count the 8 GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, as well as the fast 1GHz processor that powers the handset.

Moreover, the Galaxy S comes with a 50-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with video recording capabilities, as well as with the HD video playback capabilities, and with other multimedia features more.

The white Galaxy S would also sport a GPS receiver inside, with support for Google Maps for navigation. Support for other mobile services from Google was included into the equation as well.

The handset would land on shelves with Swype on board, so that users can type faster on the small screen of their mobile phones.

Mobile phone users in Germany interested in the purchase of this White Galaxy S would have to get €649 out of their pockets for a unit. The White version of Galaxy S can be purchased from Amazon Germany here, for only €463,99.
