14 DAY TRIAL // Ajax Football Club, mobile network operator 6GMOBILE and Service2Media, have just announced the availability of mobile subscriptions sold under the name Ajax Mobile. The subscription includes the offering of a special edition Samsung S Galaxy, which is available together with one of these Ajax-Mobile subscriptions.
The device comes with a preinstalled applications called Fun Mobile Ajax, which offers voice and application functionalities through linking to the existing Mobile Ajax ArenA Wi-Fi network, home of Ajax's football team.
The subscription also includes the offering of a Samsung Galaxy Apollo (I5800), instead of the more expansive Samsung Galaxy S (I9000), in the gift box.
Users can choose one of the three available Ajax Mobile subscriptions, with prices ranging from € 19.95 to € 45.50 per month for those that are using their phones more often.
Ajax Mobile subscribers can call each other each other for free, while calls and texts with other users will cost € 0.07 per minute. Further, calls and texts outside the package cost no less than € 0.25 per minute.
Unfortunately, those expecting to get the mobile club service, that provides users with goals, summaries and video news on their mobile, for free, will be disappointed, as the service is not included in the price.
Still, if you really want the option to see highlights of the game on your Galaxy S smartphone, you will need to take the most expensive subscription and also pay an additional monthly fee.
Ajax football team fans can get their special edition Samsung Galaxy S smartphone with a 2-year contract.
There's no information regarding the phone's specs, but they're most likely the same as the international version of the device, plus the specific Ajax Mobile apps.
The Ajax Mobile subscriptions are available through the Official Ajax Fanshop and are sold in cooperation with Dutch operator 6GMOBILE.
