Mobile phone carrier AT&T has officially confirmed plans to make the Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro rugged handset available for purchase on its network starting tomorrow, October 21.
The new smartphone will be offered at $99.99 (77 Euro) with the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier, and will provide users with support for LTE connectivity.
Packing a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display and a 5-megapixel photo snapper with 720p HD video recording, the Galaxy Rugby Pro was designed to withstand dust, shock, salt and other elements (it sports military-spec certification, Engadget notes).
Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro has been packed with push-to-talk capabilities and runs under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The new mobile phone also comes with 8GB of internal memory and features EAS corporate email support.
