Most of the Android-based smartphones these days are full-touch, candybar handsets, but there was a time when different form factors were popular among users, such as the tilting design, and the new Samsung Galaxy NxT concept is based exactly on that.

Coming from French designer Christophe Simeon, the concept phone features a slim body (8.6 mm) and a large touchscreen display, but it also sports a physical QWERTY keyboard, reminding us of the days of Nokia N97.

The hardware specs of this concept device, however, are in line with what can be found in today’s high-end phones, such as a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, a 16MP photo snapper on the back, and a 3MP front camera for making video calls.

The concept phone also features micro-HDMI port, NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, runs under Google’s Android OS, and packs Samsung’s UX on top, as the photos available courtesy of nowhereelse.fr show.
