Bell is one of the Canadian carriers that already confirmed it would offer the Samsung Galaxy Note. The phone has just appeared at Bell’s site with the ‘Coming Soon’ tag attached to it.

As exciting as this could be, the smartphone won’t hit shelves earlier than mid-February. At least this is what Bell’s official stated earlier this month. Details on the smartphone’s pricing options have yet to be unveiled as well.

Just like the AT&T variant, the Galaxy Note will have the same design-layout, including the grid-like pattern on the back cover and the four touch-sensitive keys that replace the big D-pad that comes with the European version.

Included in the sales package, the S Pen stylus allows users to sketch, draw or write emails, memos and text messages in free-form handwriting. Other stuff available in the packaging include: standard battery, travel charger, USB cable, Stereo headset, Quick start guide and Safety and warranty guide.

The phone comes with full LTE support for 700 and 1700 MHz network bands, and global access. DLNA, Mobile Hotspot, Wi-Fi and HDMI via MHL are available as well.

Although the smartphone is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread at launch Samsung already confirmed plans to deploy an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade for the Galaxy Note in Q1 2012.

However, the phone’s selling point is the astounding 5.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and 16 million colors. The screen features Corning Gorilla Glass coating for protection against scrapes and scratches.

Hardware-wise, the Galaxy Note is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, an Adreno 220 graphics processing unit, 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Other highlights of the phone include: 2500 mAh Li-Ion battery, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, as well as built-in GPS with AGPS support and GLONASS.
