Samsung and AT&T confirmed the upcoming availability of Galaxy Note about two weeks ago at the International Consumer Electronics Show, in Las Vegas.

It looks like the smartphone has just been spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) by the folks over at WirelessGoodness.

According to the FCC documents, the smartphone has been approved with support for GSM/EDGE bands 850 / 1900, and WCDMA bands II and IV.

The smartphone is expected to hit shelves within the next few weeks and features a slightly different design compared to the European variant.

However, the specs sheet is similar, including the 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 5.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive display, 16GB of internal memory, 8-megapixel rear camera and LTE support.

It is also worth stressing that the smartphone will be launched with Gingerbread on board, but Samsung confirmed plans to deliver the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade to Galaxy Note devices in Q1 2012.
