Unveiled more than a year ago, Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE made its debut on the market in March 2014. The slate was launched with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system right out of the box, but Samsung recently confirmed that the tablet would be upgraded to Lollipop.

Since the South Korean company is not known for offering exact timelines for major software updates, there was no way to accurately predict exactly when Android 5.0 Lollipop would arrive on Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE.

Luckily, those who own the high-end Android tablet won't have to wait too long now since Samsung has already kicked off the rollout of the Lollipop update for Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE.

According to SamMobile, the update is now available for download in Switzerland, but there's no doubt that Android 5.0 Lollipop will make its way to other countries in the next couple of weeks.

Keep in mind that the update is available OTA (over the air), but it can also be downloaded via Samsung Kies desktop software.

Make sure your tablet's battery is at least half charged and that you have enough storage space before attempting to upgrade. It's also recommended to back up all your media data prior to updating, on the PC or memory card.
