Until Samsung’s launch event where the company is rumored to unveil the Galaxy Note II, the original Galaxy Note goes on sale in Canada.

All three major carriers, Bell, TELUS and Rogers are now offering the smartphone for only $99.99 CAD with a new three-year agreement.

The smartphone was initially launched in Canada for $199.99 CAD on a 3-year, and now its price has been halved until Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note II.

We expect the Galaxy Note to go even cheaper in all markets, so those who still cannot afford the device may want to wait for new promotions.

However, it will be interesting to see if the upfront price will be lowered as well, once the Galaxy Note II hits shelves in Canada. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
