Samsung Galaxy Note is about to take on Canada. Three major carriers have already confirmed plans to offer the smartphone next month, TELUS, Bell and Rogers.

Samsung Galaxy Note is now on ‘Coming Soon’ at Bell Canada, while Rogers announced on its blog site that it would introduce the smartphone in February.

Last week, the smartphone was spotted in TELUS upgrade system with a whopping $1,000 price tag attached to it. Although none of the three carriers unveiled the exact release date of the Galaxy Note, the smartphone is expected to hit shelves in mid-February.

Currently, Rogers is the only carrier that allows customers to reserve the Samsung Galaxy Note via the Rogers Reservation System. No word on the phone’s pricing options yet.

Samsung Galaxy Note and Rogers LTE network are a powerful combination for customers who need speed above all else.

According to Rogers, “the Samsung Galaxy Note joins Canada’s first LTE smartphones like the exclusive HTC Jetstream LTE tablet, the first LTE tablet in Canada, the Rogers LTE Rocket stick (Sierra Wireless AirCard 313U) and the LTE Rocket mobile hotspot (Sierra Wireless AirCard 754S).”

Samsung Galaxy Note will probably be one of the most expensive Android-based smartphones available on the market. There’s a high chance that the phone’s no-term price will be around $1,000 (755 EUR), which is way over the most expensive Android tablet available for purchase in Canada.

Hopefully, the Canadian carriers will offer much lower price options for customers who are willing to commit to a long-term contract.

The smartphone is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, an Adreno 220 GPU, 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). There’s also an enhanced 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, as well as a stunning 5.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 1280 pixels resolution.
