Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 8.0 in India back in March and stated that the tablet would go on sale in the following weeks.

Well, according to AndroidOS, the tablet is now available for purchase via Samsung’s official online store for no less than Rs 30,900 ($570/€435).

Multiple Indian retailers will also offer the tablet, but for now, they are only taking pre-orders and there’s no telling exactly when the 8-inch slate will go on sale.

However, given the fact that Samsung has already kicked off sales for Galaxy Note 8.0 at its online store, it shouldn’t take too long for other retailers across the country to secure their own shipments in the next few days.

Hopefully, the tablet will be a bit cheaper and will come with various bonuses when bought from certain authorized resellers, so stay tuned for more updates on this one.

Keep in mind that the tablet is sold as Galaxy Note 510 in India, so don’t try to look for Galaxy Note 8.0 when you go shopping for the slate.

Samsung Galaxy Note 510 ships with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but rumor has it that the South Korean company plans to offer an Android 4.2 upgrade in the next months.

The tablet sports an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, as well as dual cameras (5-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.3-megapixel front camera).

Hardware-wise, Galaxy Note 510 comes with a powerful 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 processor, a Mali-400MP GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

It also supports HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, All Share Cast, USB 2.0 and S-Pen. The tablet is powered by a 4600 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 8 hours of talk time.
