Officially unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2013 trade fair, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is about to make its debut in the United States.

The tablet has been recently spotted by Engadget at FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which means it’s en route to the US.

It looks like this is the 3G version of the slate, which can double as a phone as the Galaxy Note 8.0, features support for GSM voice communication.

Aside from that, there aren’t any new things worth mentioning. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a powerful 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 processor.

The tablet’s 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display supports 800 x 1280 pixels resolution at 189ppi. There’s also a 5-megapixel camera on the back, a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera on the front, and 2GB of RAM inside.
